About Us

A Word From The Founder

Life has its challenges and from time to time we may need a helping hand, a listening ear and a safe place to recover and regenerate. Hi, I am Pastor Chris Cortez and I have been there myself, I understand the stress and the struggles that it takes to get back on one’s feet. This is one of the many reasons New Image Outreach was established, to be a place for help, hope, and healing. We are here for you!

What We Are

Established in 2015 in the City of Temple, New Image Outreach is a non-profit,(501-C3) Faith Based Alternative for a fresh start. At our base of operations we provide numerous opportunities to transform a person’s spirit, soul, and body. We are not a ‘flop house’ but an established facility that provides a structured environment for a new beginning.

An Educational Facility

At New Image Outreach, we will provide a Faith Based Alternative through weekly studies.
Our year curriculum includes courses on Christian Living ( lessons 1-5), and courses on the Christian Family (lessons 1-5) as well as Biblical Prayers 1 and 2. Upon the completion of these courses, a Graduate Certificate will be issued. After graduation, a candidate may seek further higher education through our partnership with Agape Bible College in Belton Texas for an Associates’, Bachelors or Doctorate degree.

A Spiritual Facility

Part of our conviction as a Faith Based Alternative is to incorporate a healthy spiritual life and mindset. In order to assist a candidate at our facility, we will provide an atmosphere for spiritual nurturing through daily prayer, devotionals, Chapel services, and other Biblical studies. It is our conviction that change comes when the mind is determined for change resulting in a…New Image.

A Practical Facility

New Image Outreach provides a mandate a structured environment to maintain a safe on-site living atmosphere. In addition, we will teach and train candidates in various vocational skills needed to achieve a sense of well-being, accomplishment and hope.

Community Outreach

New Image believes helping others is just the right thing to do. Based upon this conviction, we seek opportunities to “give back” by offering our services to those in need as well as our community. This is designed to show appreciation as well as developing a spirit of generosity.
